Around You 

 

If I know you’ve had a peaceful day,

I can sleep soundly, nothing to worry,

But those little stars in the sky shining.

Are they your eyes, watching restlessly

The kingdom only for you and me?

 

Close your eyes and fall into our dream.

Mild but wild, nobody can ever invade.

My sighs surely you can hear, you then feel:

Is it crossin’ your face, like a breeze?

  

September’s night won’t be so lonely.

Thickened blanket like your arms warm me.

Your fingers erase my teardrops, three or two.

Outside the leaves’re layered by heavy dews.

 

Honey, do you ever remember that I said:

How one can talk with a tree very well.

Then you just understand, you know:

You’re always around me, as I around you.
